Yes, I'm alive. Yes, I've been pretty busy the past month. BUT I STILL GOT TIME FOR MOTHEEERRRRRR!!!!! After what seemed like days pushing around paint, I abandoned the original sketch earlier in the year. Last night the idea struck me - this shouldn't just be about Mother 1, but the entire series that enriched my childhood. ;-; Seems to be working so far! >D

Deadline is July 27 - the birthday of the original game. I will not forgive myself if I fail to complete this. >(

Edit 3: Messed with the lense for the bg, added a starman in a UFO + dorobo dosei-san + skywalker. If you look closely you can see chimera down on onett's streets, hoping to add some fleeing pig masks. Trying to figure out where to place mani-mani akuma and flying man. I want to include something from magicant (esp from Mother 1) but not sure what. Also, looking at Ness, I'm not satisfied with the direction of his rendering. Think i need to recontrast him again. >_>;

Edit 4: ommggg big thanks to *lychi for helping me out. I'm horrible with foreshortening. Helped fix Ness up so he's less of a fatty mcfatfat kid. Still so much more to go. RAWRRRR

Edit 5: BG sky is nearly done, can start working on the town. Added Ionia and Oshinobi Dosei-san. Mostly fixed up Ness' face and shifting the colors on Lucas and Ninten. SO MUCH MOAR TO GO. 1 hr a day. ;A;

Edit 6: Onett is basically done. Filled in a few unexpected chars around Chimera. That's kinda what I'm going for with the rest of the town, though probably will be harder to see due to distance. Just little easter eggs like the Happy Happy Cult, Tonzura Bros, etc. Time to return to the primary stuff. So much done, so much more to go. x_x
